THERAPIST

OCD Set Free is seeking a Therapist to support the organizational growth of our practice.

The Therapist must have a positive and supportive attitude towards OCD Set Free as well as the ability to think globally and be able to make decisions independently that promote growth for OCD Set Free.

The ideal candidate is someone that is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention, the gold standard for treating OCD and is able to administer this evidence-based protocol to individuals in need of high quality and intensive clinical treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver therapeutic interventions (ERP & ACT) in the home, community and office settings and take direction from Associate Clinical Director as needed
  • Coach clients in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy strategies (CBT ± ERP) to support the clients & other therapists as needed
  • Learn and administer psychological assessments
  • Participate in social media and marketing initiatives to include videos, blogging, networking & presentations as needed
  • Maintain intake paperwork, clinical documentation, client correspondence & administration of client homework as needed
  • Utilize/manage electronic health record (Theranest system)
  • Conduct phone consultations with prospective clients as needed
  • Establish relationships with schools, doctors, therapists and community members to build referral sources
  • Oversee and facilitate group therapy sessions as needed
  • Track treatment outcomes as needed
  • Understand and follow all policies and procedures of OCD Set Free as a clinician
  • Take an active, independent role in improving OCD Set Free’s commitment to the community
  • Consult with Associate Clinical Director weekly regarding processes and/or procedures enacted, clinical issues and successes
  • Additional duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Psy.D., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, MSW
  • Preferred participation in 2 monthly consultation groups (appx 4 hours) for CE (There is no cost to attend)
  • Engage in weekly consultation with Associate Clinical Director regarding personal caseload and other clinical needs
  • Engage in regular personal study and CE to build ERP and Acceptance Commitment Therapy skills
  • Grounded in ERP or ability to learn gold standard treatment for OCD within 1-3 months
  • Ability to independently see clients using ERP immediately
  • Completion of telemental health training prior to start date
  • Minimum 25 hrs per week caseload. Most sessions are 90 minutes.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and evidence-based practices
  • Personal transportation and laptop brought to every session
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to follow all HIPAA guidelines and NASW code of ethics
  • Ability to work privately and without interruption when engaging in telehealth services with clients
